Profoundly dedicated to the arts, the stage, and to Nature, Julie Webb is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, painter, poet, and dancer. She was born in Concord, California, and raised in Ohio, San Diego, and Portland, Oregon. Childhood travels to Tijuana birthed her obsession with color, light, texture, and sound.

Webb is currently based in Wilmington, Delaware, and is self-producing her debut acoustic album “Steadfast, How You Love Me,” writing and recording it all by herself. Concurrently, and at a slower pace, Webb is producing her full-production debut album, “Psyche Revived,” which will proceed Steadfast, and which tells the story of her personal growth that had transpired prior to the conception of Steadfast. Webb’s latest releases, “By Christmas Day” and “Deep Cuts,” are the first two single releases from “Psyche Revived.”

With nine cross-country moves (39 moves in total), and infinite stories to weave, Webb surrenders her heartblood to her genre-spanning work as a meaning maker. At home in folk rock, Webb lives out of Americana’s suitcase as she train hops sensations; crafting a vibrant and naturally diverse musical landscape for the listener. Her full-production compositions have been compared to the work of David Bowie, as well as classic rock legends such as The Who, The Rolling Stones, and Led Zeppelin.

Webb’s writing is autobiographical and confessional, as she illuminates both the personal and collective shadow; a direction her new work is taking to the extreme. With all of her work she concocts new profundities from familiar tropes with the aim of making the listener say, “I never thought of it like that before, but that is exactly how it feels.” Her voice has been compared to Natalie Merchant, PJ Harvey, Patti Smith, Alanis Morissette, and Lana Del Rey.

An alumna of the American Music Program and apprentice to Thara Memory, Webb has been writing songs for three decades, and has only just begun recording professionally. She is also an alumna of Studio Incamminati’s Advanced Fine Art Program in Philadelphia, as well as the Lead Actress and a Co-producer of feature-length film, “The Texture of Falling” (2018, Allred Films).

Additionally, Webb has been a lifelong muse for fellow artists, often writing poetry and songs in her head while holding still in silence. She considers her experiences interconnected as she directs her creative energy towards music.

In August of 2025, Webb discovered that she can walk balancing on a railroad track rail for over two miles without falling. She is brainstorming ways that she can put her newfound balancing skill to good use, in combination with her other talents, as an environmental activist.
